Homemade Chicken Soup

2-3 Drumsticks
1 C chopped carrots
1 C chopped celery
Fresh parsley
Fresh dill
1 tbsp Onion powder
1 tbsp  Garlic powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Dried Oregano

Add the drumsticks into a pot of water. Let that cook for about a 1/2 hour. Once it starts boiling, add the carrots, celery, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, turmeric and dried oregano. Cook until the carrots and celery are tender. Turn the heat off and add the parsley and dill.

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce


1 lb grass fed organic ground beef
1 med chopped onion
3 cloves minced garlic
2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes
1 lb. whole wheat pasta
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes (less or more to your liking)
2 tsp salt (1 for sauce, other for pasta noodles)
Pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley

Cook the ground beef in pot until browned. Add onion and garlic and mix until onion becomes translucent. Add onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Add crushed tomatoes and cook on medium for 15 minutes. Add the parsley.

In a separate pot, boil water for the pasta noodles. Once the water starts boiling, add a teaspoon of salt. Add the pasta noodles. Cook until spaghetti is al dente. Remove the pasta and add to the meat sauce. Plate the pasta and sprinkle parsley on top. Enjoy with a piece of whole wheat garlic toast.
